Enjoy the Travel Section for trips to Italy and Kansas.
In Dental School I learned that I could carve a tooth from an image, or a model. So why not the eyes, the nose and the mouth. I decided then that I wanted to carve in stone someday.
I carve by hand, so I love softer rocks that can hold detail, like Italian Marble from Carrara, and Fencepost Limestone from Kansas.
I'm inspired by the miracle of life.
Mother Nature is my muse.
Capturing the beauty and complexity of the human form is my eternal quest.
