Fred graduated from Northwestern Dental School in 1983, While there he discovered his love for carving the human figure. As a nature lover, the miracles of life inspire his creativity.
Fred has made many trips to Kansas to obtain the Post Rocks that are native to that state. While there he leaves roadside carvings for everyone to enjoy.
Fred's yard at 1006 Ayers Ave. in Ojai serves as a gallery of his Kansas Fencepost sculptures. Throw open the garage door to view his working studio and a gallery of smaller objects. You are welcome to stop by anytime, or call to set up an appointment with the artist.
