Italian Marble Sculptures

Italian Marble is the cream of the crop. 

It's soft enough to carve by hand, yet strong enough to hold detail for centuries. 

The grain is ultra fine, allowing the artist to create images with exacting detail. 

These pieces take a lot of time, but the work is so enjoyable that I get lost in a state of zen that I can't escape.
